Student Project Description

The project designed by Secoil for the George Washington University MBA students consisted of a combination of research and analysis roles related to U.S. market entry. The students fulfilled Secoil’s informational needs by conducting primary and secondary research to shed light on U.S. regulations pertaining to fresh water protection and safe fuel storage. They also researched relevant market dynamics to prepare Secoil for the export of its first Mod T60 truck stop facility in the United States. Part of this task involved identifying customers for the biodiesel facility, as well as potential partners to assist with the U.S. manufacturing of Secoil’s products in the future. The students had the opportunity to present their findings and strategic recommendations to Secoil’s executive management team during their final presentation at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm.
